If this is the car I remember, it has been in the Philadelphia area, with several owners, for some years. Nice car overall, originally a 4BBL engine with added (year correct) Tri-Power. Incorrect pin-striping (should be lower, just above the stainless trim). Some desirable options - tach, gauge package, 8-lugs (need '66 center caps to be correct), PS, PB.
Current bid price is pretty low - below $20K. A lot of car for anywhere near that price.
Try to ignore the many inaccuracies in the detail write up by someone who doesn't know Pontiac's. The 421 was obviously not a response to the Chevrolet 409 - they were offered at virtually the same time. No, they did not have forged cranks or connecting rods. No, it's not a "big block" - all modern Pontiac blocks were the same size, dimensionally. Also, the VIN numbers
were stamped on 1966 transmissions, though not visible without removing from the car.
But I'm picking nits here. Bottom line, this could turn out to be a really good buy for someone.
