4 speed pedals bracket 8 Years, 5 Months ago
I am converting my 65 to a 4 speed.( only because it is non numbers matching) My car is currently an automatic with power brakes. I have 2 sets of pedals with bracket and the 4 speed pedal bracket has welded studs for mounting through firewall from the interior side. The automatic version seems to attach in reverse. The studs come through from the engine compartment side from the back of the power booster. Does anyone know if I am just to remove studs and mount bracket with studs as the automatic bracket would mount or is there a modification I am unaware of?

Thanks

I can't answer your question, but I do know that the pedals are different for manual vs. power brake applications. Try calling Steve Peluso at 617-9523-5303 - he owns a transmission shop in the Boston area, and I think he can help you.
Tell him Jack referred you.
