I got a call from Tom Schaffer from Lykens, PA (north of Harrisburg). He's seeking info about a 1965 2+2 coupe - VIN 252375E151285, formerly owned by his brother back in the day. It was sold around 1967, went through the Manheim car auction, and eventually left PA around 1968.
The car was Teal Turquoise with a black interior, heavily optioned with a 376hp H.O. motor, 4-speed trans. His brother had sent it to Royal Pontiac for the "Royal Bobcat" treatment by Milt Schornack. Turned a 13.7 second 1/4-mile - very impressive for a 4300 pound car on skinny bias plies.
Anyone having info on the history of the car after it left PA, please let us know. If you own it, Tom still has the original window sticker!
