"Little 2+2" Song 13 Years, 5 Months ago

Some of you less literate types may have been turned off by the word "poem" in the other thread (only kidding - don't take offense), so I'll start this new one:
Registry member "john" alerted us to the existence of a 1967 vintage song by a little-known band called The Hombres, entitled "Little 2+2". We tracked it down and posted an MP3 file on the homepage for your listening pleasure. I'll be blaring this thing at the car shows.
Apparently The Hombres were the "road band" covering for Ronny & The Daytonas, of "Little GTO" fame. It's nice that the Big Brother of the GTO has its own song.
Thanks, John!

I play the song every morning to get me started...and it has infected my wife also...she loves singing the wa wa wa parts.
Think it is time for us to decipher the lyrics

Here's what I'm getting for lyrics:
She's long and low
Car's rarin' to go
Her smooth style really looks fine
She's got a 421, she ain't nothing but fun
That Little 2+2 of mine
Chorus:
Wah-wah-wah-wah-wah
Yeah, yeah Little 2+2
Wah-wah-wah-wah-wah
Yeah, yeah Little 2+2
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Got the 4-on-the-floor and you can ask for nothing more
Than to see her coming off of the line
She really looks clean, she's a screaming machine
That Little 2+2 of mine
Chorus...
Got slicks in the back
And she's all fastback
I like to watch the tachometer climb
She's low on cost
Man she's really boss
That Little 2+2 of mine
Chorus...
The only word I'm unsure of is "cost" in the second-to-last line. If that is correct, it's really the only weak point in the lyrics. Doesn't fit the rest, IMO.
Anyone disagree on my interpretation?

Think you are right about the "She's low on cost" line
but I think your line "got slicks in the back" should be "got slicks to the black"

Definitely sounds like "black", but not sure of the "slicks to the..."
Either way, that's awkward phrasing.
I think I'll sing it my way - but if you heard me sing you'd realize it doesn't matter a bit.
