Canadian Parts interchange 13 Years, 7 Months ago  
I am posting this query on behalf of our newest member, Dan, who is a little computer-challenged. "carwash" Dan just purchased a "barn-find" 1970 Canadian 2+2 coupe, with the original 427/390hp engine (currently out of the car). The car is complete, except for the hood.
Dan needs to know:
a. does the hood from a 1970 Catalina or Bonneville fit a Canadian Pontiac?
b. anyone out there know where he can buy one?

Dan, I think the CDN. is shorter than the American "cousin" but not sure where the diff. is, if you can get a lth. measurement that will help us figure out what you need. Are you in Canada??? I know of a wrecker near Peterbourgh that stll has some old stuff , I'll check next time there & also another spot that is closing down soon!!! pete
