Just joined the forum and am having my 64 2+2 restored over the last few months.
It's having a frame off restoration and rebuilt as close to possible as it was when it came from the factory in June 1964.
It's not performance oriented as it came with the 389 / 267 hp motor with 2bbl carb and a Slim Jim roto hydramatic trans.
The car was originally "Q"2 paint code which PHS says was Gulfstream Aqua with black vinyl (cordova) roof. I purchased the car last year and it was black/black so what originally was going to be a repaint and a cleanup ended up being a frame off as we had rust issues underneath. Here's some photos that I posted on "Flicker" and will update occasionally as the restoration progresses. Hopefully, by the Spring of 2011 the 2+2 will be ready to drive like new from the factory.
