It has come to my attention that the following qualifier may be hard-to-find, buried in the "Legal" tab on the home page. I want everyone to be aware of this message before they buy or sell a vehicle on the Registry:
The 2+2 Registry uses "do-it-yourself" software for the registration process. As a result, all vehicle data relies on the honesty and accuracy of the individual owners' entries.
I ask the registrants to enter their information based on the car's options and colors as it left the factory, not as it exists today, for historical purposes. However, the Registry has no control over adherence to this request. Therefore, the 2+2 Registry and its administrators accept no liability or blame for inaccurate registrations.
Should you purchase a vehicle which is on this Registry, your purchase decision should not rely on Registry data in making that decision, nor should you infer that the registration of that vehicle is any proof that the vehicle is a genuine 2+2.
Thanks,
Jack Anderson
