Vin Numbers for 65's 12 Years, 9 Months ago  
I've seen jack's post where the 66 on Ebay ws a clone with that Vin starting with 252375, But How about the 65 hardtops?? Is That also A catalina vin or 2+2 ?? Thanks.

252375 is correct for ALL 1965 Catalina coupes, including 2+2's. Only in '66 did 2+2's have their own distinct VIN - 25437 for coupes, 25467 for convertibles, as the 2+2 was a separate model in 1966 only. For 1964, '65 & again in '67 the 2+2 was an option on a Catalina, hence the same model number in the VIN.
